A licensed structural engineer in Illinois, David is based in BASE’s Chicago office. His work includes designing residential, educational, military, adaptive reuse, and commercial low-, mid-, and high-rise buildings using steel, concrete, masonry, and wood materials. David also has developed expertise in the design of formwork, shoring, reshoring, and other temporary supports.

David is an Illinoisan who likes Latin dancing, electronic dance music, and eating giant turkey legs. He also stays active and enjoys rock climbing. One of his favorite places to climb is Red River Gorge in Kentucky.
