Reid is an experienced structural engineer who has participated in the design of numerous hospitality, residential and senior housing developments, as well as retail, office, parking structures, institutional, and civic improvement projects. He serves his profession through involvement with the development and grading of the national structural engineering licensing exam (SE exam) as part of the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES).

Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Reid enjoys cooking, traveling and golf in his spare time. He likes experimenting in the kitchen—results vary, since following recipes isn’t his strong suit—but his family usually loves his pasta creations, especially his Spaghetti alla Nerano.
