EXPERIENCED BUILDING/SPECIAL INSPECTOR
We’re seeking an experienced building/special inspector on a full or part-time basis in our Honolulu office. This position is responsible for inspecting one or more of the following with ICC & ACI certifications:
- Concrete
- Reinforcing Steel & Prestressing Steel Tendons
- Structural Welding
- High-Strength Bolting
- Structural Masonry
- Spray-Applied Fireproofing
- Piling, Drilled Piers and Caissons
- Shotcrete
- Sheathed Shear Wall & Diaphragms
- Complete Load Path & Uplift Ties
Requirements:
- ICC and/or ACI certifications for at least four (4) from the above list
- A valid driver’s license
- Be able to properly move and lift up to 50 lbs 10-20 times per day
- Be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
- Be able to ascend and descend stairs and ladders multiple times per day
- Must tolerate exposure to outdoor weather conditions
- Background in construction and plan reading is preferred but not required
