Michael joined BASE with extensive knowledge of construction and project management from previous work experience in Honolulu and Venezuela, which has allowed him to seamlessly transition to special inspection. Michael’s primary responsibilities are special inspection for concrete construction that include conventional and post-tensioned structures, and he also performs concrete and masonry sampling/testing.

Born and raised in Venezuela, immigrating to the US has been an extremely valuable life experience and is something that Michael considers as one of his greatest achievements. He enjoys spending time outdoors, surfing, hiking, and doing anything else that connects him to nature. The open ocean is his favorite place to be because it reminds him that there is something bigger than us and that keeps him humble.
