Tommy does double duty as a structural designer and special inspector in BASE’s Honolulu office.  He not only assists our engineers with structural analysis and design calculations, but he also does site visits, takes material samples, and performs testing for our Testing & Inspection division. Tommy has worked on a wide range of projects such as the design of post-tensioned concrete slabs for high rises, educational facilities, existing building assessments, and slender wall CMU designs for single-story structures.

He is a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa and has plans to pursue a Master’s degree.  Tommy recently took up drawing as a hobby but he also likes to practice guitar and play video games.
