Our workplace culture revolves around attentive listening to our clients and co-workers. We’re a tight-knit award-winning firm that thrives on collaboration. Whether it’s providing engineering for a design-build project, a project in a high-risk environment, or just a project trying to make budget, you’ve got to be great communicators.
So what’s it like to work at BASE? Every new employee is exposed to a variety of projects from the very beginning and they are mentored by seasoned, senior professionals at every step. We encourage everyone to learn from each other and keep up with the latest technology. Passionate about our mission, we get real satisfaction from delivering exceptional ideas and designs—then watching them come to fruition.
But there’s more to a career at BASE than the work. We know how to have fun and celebrate our successes, big and small. And we play an active part in our communities—we encourage our staff to volunteer and support local organizations.
At BASE, we strongly believe that community is a team sport, requiring ongoing activity and commitment to stay healthy and vibrant. We participate in our communities in many ways. Over the years, we’ve partnered with a disaster response and assessment program, founded a local chapter of the ACE Mentor Program to expose high school students to the industry, worked with at-risk teenagers, donated design work to community organizations, and volunteered with a wide range of charities, including the Make-A-Wish Foundation, UNICEF, March of Dimes, Engineers Without Borders, Boy Scouts of America and the American Red Cross.
Values are more than words. They are a set of behaviors. That’s why at BASE, we measure our success as an organization by the way we conduct ourselves. We strive to be friendly, fair and compassionate. We’ve kept our core values simple:
