Our winter issue of BASELine recaps highlights from the previous year. We’re thankful to have had highlights during another challenging year as we recover from the pandemic and navigate through economic uncertainty. We appreciate the continued support of our valued clients and BASE employees, and wish everyone a safe and prosperous 2023!
ASCE-HI awarded Hale Kalele its Outstanding Civil Engineering Achievement Grand Award. This P3 project incorporated CarbonCure that uses clean technology to create concrete with less cement. Its use resulted in 5% less cement and saved 62 tons of CO2 to reduce the project’s carbon footprint. It’s the tallest building to use this technology in the U.S.
What’s on the boards for 2023:
Please join us in welcoming Fernando, Mark, and Anantha as BASE’s new generation of owners!
Thirty years ago, Steve Baldridge founded BASE with a vision — to deliver client-focused service and bring exceptional value to projects in an increasingly commoditized industry. Today, we are thrilled to announce the addition of long-serving team members Fernando Frontera, Mark Hirschi, and Anantha Chittur to BASE’s ownership team.
As principals and partners, Fernando, Mark, and Anantha will join Steve and BASE Vice President Frank Humay to shape the firm’s future while continuing to lead projects and provide the outstanding service our clients have come
to trust.
